Dear International Students,
The winter holiday is around the corner which would be from January 13rd to February 22nd. We hereby release some tips to all of you. Everyone should read and act accordingly.

安全须知 Safety Tips
遵守中国的法律、法规及学校的规章制度，尊重中国的社会公德和风俗习惯。
Obey Chinese laws, regulations and school rules. Respect Chinese social manners and customs.
遵守宿舍相关管理规定，每天24:00前返回宿舍，工作人员将在每天24:00通过门禁系统核查晚归人员，对于晚归及夜不归宿人员将进行严厉处罚。
Abide by the dormitory management regulations and return to the dormitory by 24:00 every day. Staff will use the access control system at 24:00 daily to check for late returns. Strict penalties will be imposed on those who return late or stay out overnight.
严禁留宿他人，严禁在宿舍楼内外大声喧哗、酗酒、影响他人休息。严禁在宿舍乱拉乱接电线，不使用大功率电器、劣质插座和劣质充电器，严防火灾。
It is strictly prohibited to accommodate outsiders in the dormitory, or to make loud noises, consume alcohol, or disrupt others' rest inside or outside the dormitory building. Do not randomly install or connect electrical wires, use high-power appliances, substandard sockets, or chargers. Fire safety must be strictly observed.
履行离校报备手续：离校/假期外出向辅导员、导师、公寓管理员请示报备，务必保持通讯工具畅通。
The leave-campus reporting procedures: For leaving campus or traveling during holidays, be sure to report to your counselor, supervisor and dormitory manager for approval and keep your communication devices accessible at all times.
假期离校外出要关好宿舍门窗，保管自己的重要身份证件和财物。离开宿舍注意切断各类电器电源和水源。严禁在宿舍存放易燃易爆物品。
When leaving the dormitory during the holiday, ensure that doors and windows are securely closed and keep important identification documents and valuables safe. Before leaving, turn off all electrical appliances and water sources. It is strictly forbidden to store flammable or explosive items in the dormitory.
外出游玩注意安全。遵守当地各项法律法规，拒绝乘坐非法营运车辆，严禁无证驾驶摩托车或超标电动车，禁止前往不正规娱乐场所。关注天气预报，注意极端天气引发的次生灾害。未经批准，不得以集体名义组织外出活动。
Pay attention to safety when traveling. Comply with local laws and regulations, avoid taking unlicensed vehicles, and refrain from driving motorcycles without valid license or non-compliant electric vehicles. Do not visit unlicensed entertainment venues. Stay updated on weather forecasts and be alert to secondary disasters caused by extreme weather. Without approval, organizing outings in the name of a group is prohibited.

注册详细信息另行通知，未按要求时间报到注册的，将会受到相应处罚，直至退学。
More details will be anounced in due course. Anyone who fails to register accordingly will be punished up to be dropped out of school.
3. 如有需要离哈请假或寻求帮助等事宜，可通过电话或微信等方式联系相关老师。
If anyone needs to apply for a leave or ask for help, please contact related teacher via WeChat or phone call.
4. 放假期间每晚均有工作人员在外专留学生公寓值班。如需帮助，可前往公寓一楼办公室。
There wil be one staff from the college on duty in the office on the first floor of the dorm each night during the winter holiday. If needed, please go to the office.
5. 假期暂停办理家属签证，请注意来哈时间，以免造成签证超期。
During the winter holiday, family visa services will be suspended. Please pay attention to the arrival time in Harbin to avoid visa overstay.
食堂 Canteen
1. 自1月11日起，美食广场一层、美食城二层、美食城四层正常开餐，其他餐厅停止开餐。
Starting from January 11, the 1st floor of DA MEI, the 2nd & 4th floor of the XIAO MEI will open as usual, while other dining areas will be closed.
2. 自1月18日起，美食城二层正常开餐，美食广场一层、美食城四层停止开餐。
Starting from January 18, ONLY the 2nd floor of XIAO MEI will open as usual.
3. 假期各餐厅每日开餐时间：
早餐：7:00-9:00
午餐：11:00-13:00
晚餐：17:00-19:00
以上时间，如有调整另行通知。
The opening hours for each dinning area during the holiday are as follows:
Breakfast: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Lunch: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Dinner: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

图书馆 Library
1. 业务办理 Services
办理时间：每周二、周五

业务内容：读者咨询、证卡管理（B203室）；查收查引、论文检测、科技查新、原文传递（读者可随时线上提交，工作人员上述时间进行集中处理）
Services Provided: Reader consultations, card management (Room B203); document retrieval and citation checks, thesis plagiarism detection, technology innovation checking, document delivery (Readers can submit requests online at any time, and staff will process them during the hours mentioned above)
2. 图书借还 Books
开放区域：一层常用图书借阅区、四层自然科学新书借阅区、四层社会科学新书借阅区

Data Resource Services
图书馆主页及数据库资源每天24小时开通服务，全年无休。
The library homepage and database resources are available 24 hours a day, year-round, with no holidays.
5. 温馨提示 Warm Reminders
寒假期间，从图书馆西门通行，正门关闭;委托书及预约书业务暂停。
2月23日（星期日），恢复正常开馆及业务办理。
During the winter break, please use the West Entrance of the library, as the main entrance will be closed. Services for authorization letters and book reservations will be suspended.
Normal operations and services will resume on Sunday, February 23.
校医院 University Hospital
1. 每周一至周五（8:00-11:30，14:00-17:00）全天正常开诊。
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00-11:30 AM and 2:00-5:00 PM, with normal service throughout the winter holiday.
2. 妇科开诊时间为1月13日-17日，2月19日-21日。
The gynecology clinic will be open from January 13 to 17, and February 19 to 21.
3. 儿科开诊时间为1月13日-1月22日。
The pediatrics clinic will be open from January 13 to 22.
4. 彩超室外聘专家吴长君寒假期间停诊。
The ultrasound specialist, Dr. Wu Changjun, will be unavailable during the winter break.
5. 春节期间（1月28日-2月4日）只开急诊，其中2月1日（初四）除妇科、儿科外，其余科室上午开诊。
During the Chinese New Year festival (January 28 to February 4), only emergency services will be available.
On February 1, all departments except gynecology and pediatrics will be open in the morning.
